Start with a sandbag on the floor in front of you, lying horizontal. With your feet shoulder width apart and facing forwards, squat down until you can reach the bag; your back should remain straight throughout, so bend at the knees and hips.
Take a firm grip of the sandbag at either end and heave it upwards. Your hands can be facing inwards or with palms directed outwards. You’ll clean the bag up until your body is back in the starting position, holding the bag at shoulder height. Lower it back to the start position and go again.
